Overhead Press is a labor of love. From as early as we can remember we have loved the written word. Words propel you into the stratosphere of your potential, and teach you the high ideals that have always resided above. For that reason, we have chosen to call our small shop “Overhead Press.” Of course, originally we just thought that the “gym lingo” double meaning was funny.

When I say we are a small shop, I mean there is one of us, sometimes two, that are traversing the world of indie publishing, though it does help that “number 2” works in the educational publishing market full time.

We started Overhead Press so that we could share our passion for the spoken and written word with others. There were ideas and whole stories brimming inside of us, and we wished to share them.
